Local Bookshops

The Glades Shopping Centre, 100 High St, Bromley BR1 1DJ, UK – 020 8460 6037

Small but glorious. Not the biggest Waterstones I've ever been to but despite this has a great range of books and literary related accessories. The children's area is particularly good, with some brilliant suggested reads, and my kids find it easy to navigate and find what they're looking for. The staff are the real clincher here though - super friendly, clearly knowledgeable and just a pleasure to speak with.

Love this shop. Great knowledgeable staff. The variety of books is appreciated as well as the services offered while you are in the shop or online. The staff are mostly friendly, but not intrusive on your quest to look for the books you are looking for. Nice to know that they have noticed you walked into the shop and maybe you need some help.

Piranha Comics

246 High St, Bromley BR1 1PQ, UK – 020 8460 8486

Very friendly staff member (Will) with a great wealth of knowledge and fantastic recommendations. I’ll be back 💯 percent. 1 star knocked off because the selection was a bit smaller than other places I’ve been. Note: the staff offered to order what I wanted (paid in advance).

Great shop! Knowledgeable staff who really care about comics and do their best to help find something to suit you. Have a massive selection of back issue comics with even more in the basement that staff will happily grab for you if you're looking for something specific. Been a customer here for about 5 years and the service has always been top notch.

Nice station. Clean and tidy, plenty of oyster gates and a nice food/drink shop on platform 3/4

It's alright.
